Inspired by photos used for her “Urban Expressionism” series, Tracey Mose adds lemurs onto the photographs as a way to communicate a sense of fantasy that can be found within the confines of reality. The lemurs wear crowns, so, while they may be conspiring to create mischief, they represent how everyone deserves to be a king or queen in their own right. They are blindfolded as a way to keep today’s issues from stealing their crown.
