ESOM Art will host a pop-up gallery at Mestizo Restaurant in Baton Rouge, LA on July 16th from 12 pm to 9 pm. The work of Louisiana husband-and-wife artists Tony and Tracey Mose will be on view, along with sculptures from ESOM-represented artist Chris Baker. Tracey will be present for the duration of the show to meet with clients and collectors, and speak about the paintings and her and Tony's artistic practice.
The bulk of the work presented will be a new collection of collaboration paintings by the couple. "We are doing a very different concept this time - I have made five digital works and Tony and I are painting those on canvas. Tony shared five inspiration abstracts that I will be painting, and then he will complete the piece with his figurative work," said Tracey. The collection will be a deeper dive into more experimental work for both artists. When asked what inspired the collection Tony said "First of all our love for each other, and the ability not only to work as a team but to appreciate and bounce off of each other with ideas."
The pop-up gallery has been a longstanding part of Tony and Tracey's artistic enterprise. Bringing their work to collectors for them to experience in person and have the opportunity to interact with the artists in an intimate setting has established longstanding collector relationships and, in many cases, friendships with the artists over the years.
The ESOM team will provide complimentary delivery and installation on Friday the 17th in the Baton Rouge area for anyone who collects work at the show.
